Old Town, Lahemaa & Bog-shoe and Sauna Adventure

The three tours we booked were incredible – way above and beyond what we expected!
Chris for the Old Town Walking tour was funny, fast talking, sarcastic, and incredibly well versed on his topic. He ensured our time was enjoyable and informative.
The next day Marta led our small group to Laheema National Park with bog walk, the Manor house, and fishing village day trip. Marta is young, energetic, approachable, and easy going. We really enjoyed our day with her.
Finally, Marilin exceeded ALL expectations on our bog hike and sauna trip. Literally, we could not have been more pleased! She was nicknamed the “bog fairy” for a reason! Her sense of appreciation for Estonian nature was evident and she clearly loves sharing this wonderful mystery with her guests. We absolutely loved our day with her!

We are so grateful that Prangli Travel provided us with three awesome tour guides and that you additionally shared with us suggestions for breakfast, coffee, dinners, etc.

Behind the Iron Curtain of Tallinn – Secrets of the Soviets

Kris was an excellent guide. His information was in-depth and he could discuss many aspects of the Soviet period. Highlights of the tour were a visit to a memorial site, an old Soviet telecommunications tower, a local museum of Soviet items and an old missile base. We saw some of the country and learnt about life on a Soviet collective farm. A fascinating tour with an involved, knowledgeable guide.

Jägala Waterfall and Picnic Tour

The waterfall hadn’t yet frozen when we saw it but it is wonderful to see it in full flow. The colour of the water is amazing. Our guide, Keidi, was very friendly and gave us lots of information about the waterfall and the area. We enjoyed the light picnic (meat, cheese and sweet snacks with tea and a ‘health’ drink). I understand that the waterfall is very busy with visitors in the summer. We were the only people there on our visit, so we were fortunate. Highly recommended.

Bog-shoe Hiking Tours

We were a group of 4 adults and we booked a bogshoeing day tour with Prangli Travels. We interacted with Nele who was extremely helpful and prompt in replying to emails and answering all my many questions about the outing.
She told us Marilin will be our bogshoeing guide and she is the best nature guide in Estonia.
This turned out to be absolutely true. The bogshoeing was such a wonderful, fun and unique experience and Marilin was truly the best guide we could have asked for. Her love and passion for nature really came thru. Apart from the bogshoeing, she also showed us so many cool plants – many varieties of edible berries and mushrooms as well as carnivorous plants in the bog.
Very highly recommend Prangli Travels and the unique bogshoeing experience and ask for Marilin as your guide.
